hi, i’m snehith.
I am a digital craftsman and a technical contrarian. I live at the intersection of technological freedom and philosophical agency. While most people “use” technology, I prefer to dismantle it, strip the bloat, and rebuild it as an extension of myself.
This site is my autonomous zone—a digital garden for my projects, 3:00 AM epiphanies, and logs on whatever has currently hijacked my brain.
my manifesto
Computing is about taking dominion, not just signing a contract.
- Ownership is a Covenant: I self-host my digital life because a subscription is just a lease on your own agency.
- High-Fidelity or Bust: Whether it’s bit-perfect audio on a Raspberry Pi or the raw speed of a Neovim buffer, I want my tools to have zero “personality” so my own thought process can flourish.
- The Ladder of Abstraction: Curiosity starts with the wonder of the “rocket launch” and peels back the layers until it hits the core principles.
I am a staunch advocate for software freedom and digital privacy. I provide tools and a sanctuary for the collective via the Frens Autonomous Zone (FAZ).
the stack
I value speed, minimal latency, and cohesive design. If a tool doesn’t grant me control, I don’t use it.
| Layer | Component | Philosophy |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Arch Linux (systemd + LUKS) | Total control & “The Thrill” |
| Interface | Hyprland (Wayland) on UWSM | Logic-driven tiling |
| Shell | BASH | Precise, scriptable execution |
| Editor | Neovim | A lifestyle, not a program |
| Audio | MPD + ncmpcpp | Raw, bit-perfect data delivery |
| Browser | LibreWolf + Pi-hole | Anti-tracking; Manifest V3 free |

- Engineering: Domotics, ARM architecture, and the pursuit of the silent, invisible server.
- Theory: Epistemology and the “Vector vs. Circle” nature of human life.
- Leisure: Reading books, auditing music, and watching anime.
